Today was mostly spent joining the legs onto the short rails with mortise and tenons. The tenons were made on the tablesaw and bandsaw; mortise made on the mortiser.
Wooh!
Had to clean up the cheeks first with chisel and hammer
The rounding of the tenons were done with a file
At the right, you can see a template made from a spare piece of wood using the same settings on the mortiser. I used this to check the shape of the tenons as I filed.
Finally, after a grueling hour of filing and planing, the tenons fit the mortises! YAY
Pattern routed the outer edges of the legs
Chamfered the edges of tabletop
